Our Story

Inspirational Family Radio is an independently owned media company in Boise, Idaho, broadcasting local and national Christian talk radio programs on two stations, KSPD 790 AM and 94.5 FM. The Schafer family founded the organization in 1982 with the acquisition of KSPD 790 AM. The 94.5 FM translator was added to KSPD in 2017. 

The staff members at Inspirational Family Radio are dedicated to bringing our community the best in national and local programming; connecting listeners their community, businesses, activities, and ministries.
